Creating your first drive is simple. Click the "Start a Drive" button, fill in your title, story, and funding goal, upload images, and hit publish. The entire process takes about five minutes. You can choose between Flexible and Fixed Goal funding models depending on your needs.

Pledgr supports M-Pesa, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and popular cryptocurrency wallets including MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet. We are constantly adding new payment options to serve a global audience.

Navigate to your dashboard and click Withdraw. You can send funds to your M-Pesa account, bank account via EFT, or a crypto wallet address. Withdrawals typically process within 24–48 hours for M-Pesa and 3–5 business days for bank transfers.

Pledgr charges a 5% platform fee on funds successfully raised. Payment processing fees (M-Pesa, card, or crypto) are typically 1–3% depending on the provider. There are no upfront costs to create or publish a drive.

With Flexible funding, you keep every pledge you raise regardless of whether you hit your goal. With Fixed Goal funding, it is all-or-nothing — if you do not reach your target by the deadline, all pledges are automatically refunded to backers.

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Verification. You will need to upload a valid government-issued ID and take a selfie for facial matching. Verification typically completes within 24 hours and unlocks higher withdrawal limits.

Yes, you can update your drive description, images, and FAQ at any time. However, you cannot lower your funding goal once pledges have been received. You can raise the goal if needed. The drive title and category cannot be changed after the first pledge.

For Fixed Goal drives that do not reach their target, refunds are processed automatically within 5–7 business days. For Flexible drives, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through our support team. M-Pesa refunds are typically instant while card refunds may take up to 10 business days.
